Word of South is a festival that combines literature and music to create a unique, culturally rich experience for the people of Tallahassee and the surrounding area. For nearly a year leading up to the event, BowStern strategically markets the festival in the digital and traditional marketing sphere.
In 2017, I had the opportunity to head up the creative direction for the entire festival. I worked to build a campaign that showcased the festival's focus on interlacing music and literature, and I had the opportunity to flesh it out across months of design work. Up until the first day of the event, I worked on maintaining their website, designing billboards, handlettering a campaign for their children's tent, and many similar tasks.
